BDHire.com provides website related staffing services to webmasters on contract basis. Webmasters can hire full time and part time staff for short or long periods for helping them with website building, maintenance or promotional tasks.

Below, we are providing answers to some frequently asked questions.

Question: Is $250 onetime fee? Can you tell more about $250 set up fee? Why you need that? Is it only for software etc?

Answer: The $250 is one time fee. It is intended to cover several incidental costs. For example, if you decide to terminate our services, the employee assigned to you will have to be paid by us. If you want the employee changed, we do it without charging you. We also have to meet costs of finding and training employees who will meet client requirements. Then there are the costs of office supplies, employee perks and such, which are not being recovered through the amounts you pay for employees.

Question: Can we request to change talent if the webmaster’s work is not satisfactory?

Answer: Certainly. BDhire.com is committed to provide satisfaction to their clients. If you are dissatisfied with the work you are getting, let us know, with an indication of what you find unsatisfactory. We will take needed action and deliver you what you want along with replacing the employee without charging you any fee.

Question: How do you ensure the security of my sites and passwords?

Answer: The question is one of trust. We have been retained by many SBI and non-SBI webmasters all around the world. None of them has complained abut the integrity of the employees we have assigned to them. References can be provided if you want.

We recruit honest employees, and they know that if they misuse the information that come into their possession, they will be charged in a court of law and lose a dependable source of earnings, something very serious in Bangladesh.

Question: Will you sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect confidential information?

Answer: Definitely. Wherever clients are concerned with the confidentiality of their data, they can ask us to sign a NDA and we will do it.

Question: Do I have to sign a contract before using the services? How do I terminate the contract?

Answer: It is not necessary to sign a contract before starting to use the services. Termination can be done at any time. However, we would appreciate some advance notice of such termination so that we can find alternative work for the staff person concerned.

If the client wants, we can also sign a formal contract.

Question: Will I have direct contact with those working on my site?

Answer: Yes. You will be able to contact the person working on your site for issues related to the work that person is carrying out for you.

Question: Do you provide status reports or other documentation?

Answer: Yes. We send daily reports on the specific tasks carried out for you. Some of our clients use project management software and in such cases, we update the task completion status daily using the relevant tools provided by the software.

Question: Do you offer a formal contract? Can I see it?

Answer: We have a formal contract form. We can send it to you on request.

Question: Is there a minimum trial period?

Answer: No. You can terminate using service at any point of time.

Question: How are the hours/rates managed?

Answer: You send us a list of tasks to be competed each day. The employee assigned to you will attend to these tasks. As managers, we ensure that employees work productively and use their time well in completing the tasks. If you feel that time charged to you is not being used well, just tell us and we will investigate and take necessary action.

Actually, we have not had a single complaint on this issue from any of our clients.

Question: Do you use time sheets?

Answer: Yes. With montly invoice we sent the time sheets.

Question: Do your staff members just carry out what they are told, or do they recommend something that they feel I really should do, i.e. do they up sell or add value?

Answer: It depends on the assignment. Not all assignments involve the employees to make suggestions. They carry out tasks that the client asks.

If you want us to advice on best practices for achieving your goals, we can try to do that. If the practices fall within our domain, such as website-building or promotion, we can usually help.

Question: Are the rates of fulltime or part-time flexible and negotiable?

Answer: Our rates are the best in the industry and we regret we cannot negotiate these terms. All that I can assure is that you will get excellent value for money.

Question: How many hours a month for the ‘part time’ option ($375)? Are these hours a fixed number of hours per week or are they flexible over the month (i.e. 8 hours one week, 20 hours second week, etc)?

Answer: Part time means 20 Hours a week. Unfortunately, working arrangements do not permit the hours to be flexible. Employees work 5 days a week from Sunday to Thursday. Your best option will be to plan the assignment in advance and provide instructions that will provide sufficient work for the employee for those days.

Question: If all the hours in a month are not used, do they roll over to the next month?

Answer: The employee assigned to is not a freelancer, and expects to find a full day’s work for each day. We have to pay the person fixed amounts per month even if that person does not work fully.

As mentioned above, your best option will be to plan the assignment in advance and provide enough work for each day. In case, you find that there is no work for a particular day or time period, you can ask the employee to use the time for website promotional work, which are many and also help the site to grow. Provide work instructions at least 2 or 3 days in advance to keep the work flowing without interruption.

Question: Do you provide estimates for the amount of hours a task is likely to take?

Answer: Though we would be happy to do that, the varied nature of work you might assign to each employee makes it a practical impossibility. In such a situation, what you can do is to tell us if you feel that an employee is taking too much time on a work. We will immediately look into it and take necessary steps. Employees are trained in different kinds of work, and if the person is asked to do work he had not done before, it might need some training (which we will then arrange).

Our experience is that such complaints are rare, and happens only in the kind of situation mentioned in the last sentence above.

Question: You mention briefing members of staff on a daily basis. However, what I prefer is to provide various tasks that need to be completed by the end of the week. Will this be ok?

Answer: It is possible provided you give us a schedule of the tasks to be completed, and the priorities of the tasks, in advance. We will then schedule the work for the concerned employee in accordance to your wishes.

Question: You offer ‘packages’ within BDSEO, Can these be tailored to my needs? For example, as part of the work outlined in my previous email, I need to get link building done (directory submissions, article submissions, etc). Could I not just buy a package instead of hiring someone part-time? Which would be better?

Answer: The honest answer is that buying packages will cost you more. Employees do all the works offered through the packages mentioned at the other sites, and you can instruct the person to do a variety of tasks. Hence it is better to hire an employee.

Question: Can your employees communicate well in English?

Answer: We in Bangladesh learn English as a second language and all the employees will be familiar with it. Even where they are not “fluent” in the language, you will find that communicating with them through English will not be a problem.

Question: Can you combine a mix of services, such as article writing, re-writing, link building, forum moderation and so on? I have two sites, and am expanding it to four pretty soon. Do your guys do all that?

Answer: Our employees tend to be specialists. Programmers do not do link building. Link builders cannot program, nor write. Writers do not build links, and so on.

If you want a mix of services, please let me know your requirements in advance and I will assign specialist employees to each of the tasks.

Question: Do you have a capacity for writing articles?

Answer: As indicated above, we have varying resources available to us, like university graduates who have majored in English and business writers who will research and write authentic pieces. Depending on your requirements, you can select the kind or writing you want.

Higher quality writing will require more time, and will also cost higher per article. If you decide to go for volumes, you might have to review the submitted articles and make some changes.

Question: I am interested in the services you provide. At the moment I am thinking of the use of a content writer part-time. I was interested in getting an indication of the amount of articles somebody would write in a week (20 hrs) and what the quality and length is of those articles?

Answer: Articles are typically 500 words in length as we have found that this is the ideal length for web pages/articles. People rarely read 1000 word articles; a 1000 word article does not provide any special SEO advantage as each article can be optimized only for one primary keyword; splitting the 1000 article into two 500 word articles allow you to optimize each for a different primary keyword.

Number of articles in 20 hour week depends on the quality of articles you want. If you want high quality articles that your site visitors will really recommend to others, you will get only about 5 articles or about in that period. On the other hand, you might get 20 quickly thrown together, keyword optimized but of not much value or readability, in the same period.

Question: How would you rate your services compared to article providers like needanarticle.com?

Answer: We have never used needarticles.com services. It looks like they use some kind automated article production with software. The software might extract passages from other articles on the web that use the keyword and throw them together, or take the keyword and a lot of related words and throw them together even more clumsily. Either way, the results are not likely to produce quality content that provide real value to readers.

All our articles are written by humans, by university graduates who have majored in English language and literature. These writers will write grammatically correct English, but you might have to check that the content is okay for your purpose.

For high quality business writing, we have business writers who will research and write authentically on the given business topic. The latter will take more time to write, and also will cost higher.

Question: Also, would the articles be provided in HTML according to specs, or would the article be provided in flat text?

Answer: If you can provide the specs in which the articles should be coded using HTML, it can be done.

Question: Is there an ability to do some kind of trial period and see if I like the work provided?

Answer: You can see samples of our writing at http://www.softkab.com and http://www.bddms.com to decide whether you like our writing. If you send us a topic, we can also send you sample written pieces on that topic. This way, you should be able to judge the quality of writing.
